The Lavender Heritage Preservation Endowment Fund in Provence (SPLP) has published its 2024 activity report:
A year marked by concrete progress in preserving lavender, the emblem of our region.
Highlights of the year include:

Continuation of the Green&Lavandes program:

plant cover deployment over more than 220 hectares with 37 partner producers,
-
support for agroforestry research,
-
investigation of solutions to reduce the carbon impact of harvesting and distillation.

Enhanced support for research, particularly into the cecidomyie, a major pest affecting the sector;
-
Progress of the ANTIGONE program, which assesses emissions of volatile organic compounds from lavender;
Thanks to the loyalty of our donors and partners, more than €146,000 in donations have been collected, enabling us to take action on the ground.
