Lavender, the identity of Provence

Lavender has always been picked wild in our mountains. It was only at the end of the 19th century, with the development of the perfume industry in Grasse, that the first cultivations began. Known since ancient times for its calming and healing properties, lavender is now the emblematic flower of Provence.
They currently cover around 30,000 hectares of our territory.
